Quick…when was the last time the Big Ten conference actually had ten teams? That would be 1990 just before Penn State joined the conference to push it to 11 teams. With the addition of four more teams this offseason, the Big Ten now stands at 18 members.  Of those 18 members, the reigning NCAA football national champion calls the Big Ten home.
